Our mission is simple: help innovators launch better products, faster. Our CNC Machine Shop capabilities pair advanced automation with a craftsman’s eye for detail, achieving tight tolerance in repeatability and sub-24-hour quoting so you can shorten design cycles and win time-to-market battles. Every job moves through a lean, paperless workflow managed by seasoned machinists who treat your parts like their own.
Dallas Precision Machining, DPM, is a CNC Macine Shop that emerged from our sister company Pacific Sensor. We recognized the need for faster turn around times and tighter quality control on machined parts. We realized that if we wanted it done right, we were going to have to do it ourselves, and thus DPM was born.
What began as a two-machine garage shop has grown into a 16,000 sq ft facility equipped with Mazak INTEGREX mill-turn centers, Haas VF-series super-speed mills, and fully programmable Cosen band saws. Technology that lets us deliver tight-tolerance prototypes and lights-out production runs on the same floor.

We accept common CAD and technical drawing files for CNC precision manufacturing, including STEP, STP, IGES, DXF, DWG, STL, and PDF drawings. For the most accurate quote, include material requirements, quantities, tolerances, finish specifications, and any critical dimensions.
Prototypes: 3–10 business days. Production: 2–6 weeks depending on complexity, materials, and finishing. Rush options are available.
Yes. We honor customer NDAs and can provide ours. Files are stored securely; only the project team has access.
We price based on material cost and availability, programming/setup time, machine cycle time, tooling/fixtures, inspection requirements, finishing (anodize, passivate, etc.), and packaging/shipping. We include DFM suggestions when they meaningfully reduce cost or lead time
CNC precision manufacturing is the process of using computer-controlled machining equipment to produce parts with tight tolerances, repeatable accuracy, and consistent surface quality. It is commonly used for aerospace, automotive, robotics, medical, industrial, and custom product development where exact measurements and dependable part quality are required.
Precision manufacturing focuses on tighter tolerances, repeatability, quality control, and advanced production planning. While standard machining may be suitable for general parts, precision manufacturing is used when components must meet strict dimensional requirements, material specifications, and performance standards.
A precision machining shop can typically work with aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, copper, plastics, and specialty materials depending on the application. Material selection depends on strength, weight, corrosion resistance, heat tolerance, machinability, and the final use of the part.
Yes. Precision CNC machining is commonly used for both one-off prototypes and repeat production runs. Prototyping allows designs to be tested and refined before full production, while production machining focuses on repeatability, efficiency, and consistent part quality across every order.
